Fireflies | Cantrip Spell for D&D 5e

Just a simple, flavorful cantrip spell for the nature-based casters out there. It’s not listed in the image, but clerics serving nature deities could easily have access to this spell as well.

Evocation cantrip (Druid, Ranger)

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Components: V, S, M (insect wings)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

1d6 tiny fireflies spark into existence around you, shedding dim light in a 10 foot radius. As a bonus action while the spell is active, you may choose any number of remaining fireflies and make a ranged spell attack against a creature within 30 feet of you. On a hit, the spell deals 1 fire damage for each firefly you choose to attack with.
You cannot cast this spell again until all flames have been used, or until the spell’s duration is up.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 1st level or higher, increase the number of fireflies that appear by 1d6 for each slot level including and above 1st level.
